GFSA Activated Carbon Filters can remove contaminants from Water, Air, Amines and Glycol. The activated media is retained between specifically designed retaining grids and the incoming flow is distributed via an inlet diffuser to ensure good distribution. The performance of the bed is monitored via sample points or analysers, ensuring that the bed can be switched for regeneration when required.
Activated Carbon can also be supplied as a filter element for smaller flowrates; applications are similar to those described above but they are also used to remove solids, emulsions, suspended solids and dissolved organic matter.
